Parma finished a respectable third in the Italian title race, but have since been relegated to Serie A.
Gentile had a great season with Parma this season, winning the Scudetto, Serie A and Coppa Italia.
He has also won the Scuola della Serie A, the Coppa Doce and Coppo League.
He was voted by the Parma faithful to be the Italian Footballer of the Century by the Italian Association.
Juventus have won three Scudetti, the Inter-Continental Cup, the Scudo and the Coppo.
They are currently in the third tier of Serie A with 10 points from 13 games.
